Racecraft Ltd we specialise in the fabrication and machining of plastics to our
customers design and are happy to offer our wealth of experience in prototyping
new ideas for commercial and domestic products.We have an experienced in-house
tool maker to ensure that our products have a consistent and exact tolerance
from concept to completion.

We
manufacture a variety of vacuum formed products from a vast range of materials
including ABS, PVC, High Impact Polystyrene and Polycarbonate. We can
manufacture moulds in various sizes as we have 4 vacuum forming machines in our
workshop, the largest of which will take a 7 ft x 4 ft sheet of plastic. The
larger machine has been particularly useful for producing large scenery panels
for film sets.
We
also blow-mould acrylic for our hand blown dome display cases which have been
present at the annual Autosport Awards event for the past 9 years.
For
7 years we provided ‘Point of Sale’ display products for Dauman Displays
International Ltd. Currently our clients include ABN Amro, Aztec Modelmakers,
Grand Prix Legends, Mirage Events Ltd, and RSA Food Service International Ltd. We
also sell our own range of products to English Heritage, Cadw and The
National Trust.
Where possible, we try to use recycled materials in the moulding process
(as with our own range of children's educational toys) and we also have a large
proportion of our waste plastic taken away for recycling. |
